Seiko bulks out Presage Classic series with trio of additions

Seiko has added a trio of timepieces to its Presage Classic series.

Aijiro, Fushi-iro and the Shiro-iro feature a compact case design of 36mm and dial textures in light indigo, light brown, and white.

They are named after popular colour shades during the Edo period while the texture of the dial is inspired by Japanese silk, a material cherished since ancient times.

The Seiko Presage Classic Series collection is powered by an in-house built 6R51 calibre, accurate to -15/+25 seconds per day, with a 72-hour power reserve.

Under their dual curved sapphire glass, the domed dial has curved hands and indices to evoke a vintage style and maximise light reflections.

The new models also feature a seven-piece multi-row bracelet that has been developed and inspired by 1970s retro metal bracelets.

Designed for style and to reflect light, each piece is short at only 6mm long, allowing for a maximum movement and comfort.
