Tokyo, May 12, 2023 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced today that three of its products have been named winners of the German iF Design Award 2023, a prestigious international recognition of excellence. The winning products include a Casio digital piano, watch, and scientific calculator.
Each year, the iF Design Award is organized by iF International Forum Design GmbH, which is based in Hannover, Germany and is one of the world’s oldest independent design forums. The coveted annual awards are conferred upon a select group of products that represent outstanding examples of industrial design. Design experts selected the winners of the iF Design Award 2023 from among some 11,000 submissions representing 56 countries and regions.
This year, the Privia PX-S7000 digital piano became the first Casio product to win the highest iF Design honor, the Gold Award, which was presented to only 75 designs. The G-SHOCK MRG-B5000 shock-resistant watch and the ClassWiz CW series scientific calculator also won the iF Design Award this year.
